Robbie Brennan (born 1947 in Dublin, Ireland – died April 12, 2016) was a talented Irish drummer. He was known for being a member of Phil Lynott's band, Grand Slam. Robbie also played drums for many other famous Irish musicians and bands. These included Christy Moore, Skid Row, Auto Da Fé, Paul Brady, and Clannad.

Robbie Brennan was a very busy musician. He played with many different groups throughout his career.
Playing with Stepaside
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Robbie was the drummer for a rock band from Dublin called Stepaside. The band was named after a suburb in Dublin. Another member of Stepaside was Paul Ashford, who used to be in the Miami Showband.
Other Bands and Projects
Robbie also joined the band Scullion. With them, he recorded an album called Spin in 1985. After that, he played with Auto Da Fé. Later in the 1980s, Robbie was part of a jazz band from Dublin called Hotfoot. He played with Hotfoot until the band broke up in 1987.
