Robe is a small place in Snohomish County, in the U.S. state of Washington. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it does not have its own local government, like a city or town would. Instead, it is managed directly by the county.
A Look Back at Robe
Robe has a short but interesting history. The community was named after a local pioneer. A pioneer is someone who was among the first people to settle in a new area.
A post office was opened in Robe in 1894. Post offices were very important places back then. People used them to send and receive letters and packages. This post office served the community for many years. It finally closed its doors in 1954.
