Robert Banfield Capron Jr. (born July 9, 1998) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Rowley Jefferson in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. He started acting in 2009.
After Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Robert also lent his voice to the animated movie Tarzan in 2013. He had other roles in films like The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010) and Frankenweenie (2012). He also played a young Curly Howard in The Three Stooges (2012). On TV, he had a recurring role as Mason in the show Elementary.

Robert Capron began his acting career with a small part in the movie Bride Wars. He also appeared in Hachiko: A Dog's Story and the Disney film The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
His mother, Kaye Capron, even played his character's mom in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. Robert is from Scituate, Rhode Island. He has also taught film and acting classes at Actors for Autism.
