Robert Tessier's Early Life
Robert Tessier was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. He had Abenaki Native American and French family roots.
He served in the Korean War, which was a conflict in the 1950s. Robert was a paratrooper, meaning he was trained to jump out of airplanes. For his bravery, he received two important awards: the Silver Star and the Purple Heart.
Acting and Stunt Career
Before becoming an actor, Robert Tessier was a skilled motorcycle rider. He even performed stunts in the circus. These amazing skills helped him get his first movie role in The Born Losers. This film was directed by Tom Laughlin.
With his shaved head, large size, and serious look, Robert often played tough or scary characters. He appeared in many movies and TV shows as a villain.
