Her Education and Training

Roberta went to Wallington County School. After that, she studied art at two famous schools in London. First, she attended the Goldsmiths School of Art. Then, she continued her studies at the City and Guilds of London Art School.

After finishing her art training, Roberta earned a special certificate. This certificate allowed her to teach art.

Roberta as a Teacher

Roberta Everett had a career as an art teacher. She taught art and crafts at different schools and colleges. She taught in places like Brentwood in Essex. She also taught in east London, in areas like Shoreditch and Bow.

From 1948 to 1950, she was the head art teacher at the Coborn School for Girls. This shows she was a respected and important art educator.

Her Work as a Sculptor

As an artist, Roberta Everett was known for her sculptures. She worked with several materials. These included clay, plaster, stone, and bronze. She mainly created busts (sculptures of heads) and full figures of people.

Her artwork was shown in many important exhibitions. She displayed her sculptures at the Royal Academy in London. This happened between 1928 and 1949.
