Robin Montgomery (born September 5, 2004) is a talented American tennis player. She plays tennis professionally. Robin has achieved a high ranking of No. 105 in singles and No. 119 in doubles worldwide. A big moment in her career was winning both the girls' singles and girls' doubles titles at the 2021 US Open. She has also won several titles on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour.

Early Life and Training
Robin Montgomery was born in Washington, D.C. She started playing tennis when she was just four years old. Today, she trains hard at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland. This center helps young tennis players get better.

Starting Strong in 2019
In August 2019, Robin played in the girls' singles tournament at the US Open. She made it to the third round, showing her skill. Later that year, she played for the USA in the Junior Fed Cup final. She and her partner, Connie Ma, won their doubles match. This helped the US team win the entire competition. In December, Robin won the "18 and under" title at the 2019 Orange Bowl, a very important junior tennis event.
Turning Pro and First Wins in 2020
Robin started 2020 by reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open girls' singles. In March, she won her very first professional tournament. This was a $25,000 event in Las Vegas on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. By August 2020, she was ranked No. 5 in the world for junior players.
After a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Robin got a wildcard to play in the qualifying rounds of the Western & Southern Open. The next week, she received another wildcard for the main competition of the 2020 US Open. This was her first time playing in a Grand Slam tournament.
Junior Grand Slam Champion in 2021
Robin made her debut in a top-level WTA 1000 tournament at the Miami Open. She was given a wildcard to play in the main draw.
A major highlight for Robin came at the US Open. She won the girls' singles final against Kristina Dmitruk. Just a few hours later, she won her first major doubles title. She and her partner, Ashlyn Krueger, defeated another American team. Robin was the first girl since 2004 to win both the singles and doubles titles at the US Open. She was also the first American girl to win the singles title since 2017.
Recent Successes: 2023–2024
In 2023, Robin played in the first-ever 2023 ATX Open in Austin, Texas. She also got wildcards for big tournaments like the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open. At the Miami Open, she won her first match at a WTA 1000-level event.
In 2024, Robin continued to play well. She qualified for the main draw at Indian Wells. At the Madrid Open, she reached the third round. She also qualified for the Rosmalen Open and reached her first quarterfinal in a tour event. Robin also qualified for the famous 2024 Wimbledon Championships.
Later in 2024, she reached her first WTA 500 quarterfinal at the Washington Open. She also qualified for the main draw at the Cincinnati Open.
