The Journey of Rock Creek
Rock Creek begins its journey high up in the mountains. Its waters start on the northern side of the Medicine Bow Mountains, specifically in a part called the Snowy Range. This area is in Carbon County, Wyoming.
From Mountains to Other Rivers
As the creek flows down from the mountains, it passes through several towns.
- First, it runs through Arlington.
- Then, it continues through McFadden.
- After that, it goes through a town named Rock River.
From these towns, Rock Creek mostly flows towards the northeast. Eventually, it changes direction and turns northwest. Its journey ends when it joins another river called the Medicine Bow River. This meeting point is just north of the town of Medicine Bow.
