Centerville is a community in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. It is called an "unincorporated community." This means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own official city government.
Centerville is located in the southeastern part of Gwinnett County. You can find it just south of the city of Snellville. The community is mostly centered around where two main state roads, State Route 124 and State Route 264, cross paths. A small part of Centerville might also extend into Rockdale County.
History of Centerville
Centerville has a little bit of history! It once had its very own post office. This post office was open for many years, from 1878 until 1903. For a while, people even called Centerville by a funny old name: "Sneezer."

The community also has a local library branch. It's called the Centerville Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library. This library shares a building with the Centerville Community Center.
