Rockcreek is a community in Washington County, Oregon, in the United States. It's located north of a main road called U.S. Route 26. The community gets its name from the Rock Creek neighborhood, which is also named after a stream called Rock Creek. This stream flows through the area and is a smaller branch of the Tualatin River. In 2020, about 9,862 people lived in Rockcreek.
Where is Rockcreek Located?
Rockcreek is bordered by the city of Hillsboro to the south and west. A road called Cornelius Pass Road separates Rockcreek from Hillsboro on the west side. The Sunset Highway forms the southern border between the two communities.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the entire area of Rockcreek is about 5.09 square kilometers (or 1.97 square miles) of land. There is no water area within its borders.
