Meet the Rocket Monkeys Crew
Gus and Wally are two monkey brothers who are also astronauts. They might not be the smartest or coolest space explorers. But they are the only ones available for missions! So, they get to go on many wild adventures in space.
Their missions include fighting strange black holes and angry aliens. Other members of their crew help them out. Dr. Chimpsky is their bossy astrophysicist. He gives the monkeys their assignments. YAY-OK is a loyal robot. He is a bit old-fashioned but helps the brothers stay on track. Inky is a space octopus and an artist. He talks using his amazing ink drawings.
Main Characters of Rocket Monkeys
- Gus Monkey (voiced by Seán Cullen) is Wally's older brother. He really wants to be a hero. But sometimes, his monkey instincts get in the way. He acts like the captain of the ship. Gus takes his training as a GASI cadet very seriously, most of the time!
- Wally Monkey (voiced by Mark Edwards) is Gus's monkey partner and brother. He is thought to be the smarter of the two. Wally is a bit messy but still cute. He would rather play "Banana Blasters" or sort his old pudding. He prefers this over going on a crazy space trip. Wally is great at being a monkey. He can howl and throw things with the best of them!
- Yay-OK (voiced by David Berni) is Wally and Gus's old robot friend. He helps them on all their space adventures. This robot would do anything for his monkey pals. He is programmed to be super helpful. He is also quite charming! He can make any ladybot's circuits beep faster, from the fridge to the blender.
- Dr. Chimpsky (voiced by Jamie Watson) is the boss at GASI headquarters. He gives the monkeys their super important missions. Sometimes, these missions include getting him more ice for his drink! He tries his best to keep them focused when they get distracted.
- Inky is a space octopus who loves art. He communicates using his amazing ink drawings. No one is sure if he's a crew member or just super adorable. Either way, his artistic skills make him a lot of fun to have around.
Villains and Friends
- Lord Peel (voiced by Mark McKinney) is the main bad guy in the show. The monkeys always think he is a banana! Before the show started, he was a good businessman. But then the Rocket Monkeys tried to eat him. Now, he wants revenge for them forcing him to be evil.
- Nefarious (voiced by Seán Cullen) is another bad guy. He lives on a prison asteroid. In most episodes, he tries to escape from his space prison.
- SLO-MO (voiced by Teresa Pavlinek) is Nefarious’ robot friend. In some episodes, she really cares about YAY-OK.
- Deep Space Dave (also voiced by Seán Cullen) is a superhero. He always counts on his biggest fans, the monkeys, to help him out.
