Early Life and Family

Rocket Wrangler was born in 1968. He was a sorrel colored male horse. His father was a famous Thoroughbred horse named Rocket Bar, who is in the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame. His mother was a mare named Go Galla Go. Her father was also a Hall of Fame horse, Go Man Go. So, Rocket Wrangler came from a family of very fast and successful horses!

Becoming a Sire

After he stopped racing, Rocket Wrangler became a breeding horse, also known as a sire. This means he had many foals (baby horses). He passed on his speed and talent to his children.

Rocket Wrangler became the father of 56 horses who won major races. His most famous son was Dash For Cash, who also became a racing legend and is in the Hall of Fame. All together, Rocket Wrangler's children earned more than $9.4 million on the racetrack!
