Rocky Fork Point is a small community in Highland County, Ohio, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. It's also a "census-designated place," which means the U.S. Census Bureau counts its population separately. In 2020, about 742 people lived there.

Where is Rocky Fork Point?

This community is located in the eastern part of Highland County. It sits along the southern edge of Paint Township. To its east, you'll find another community called Highland Holiday.

Both Rocky Fork Point and Highland Holiday are on the north side of Rocky Fork Lake. This lake is a reservoir, which is a man-made lake built to store water. It was created on a stream called the Rocky Fork.

The Rocky Fork stream flows east into Paint Creek. Paint Creek then flows into the Scioto River, which is part of the larger Ohio River watershed. A watershed is an area of land where all the water drains into a common river or lake.

The U.S. Census Bureau says that Rocky Fork Point covers about 1.22 square miles (3.17 square kilometers). Out of this area, about 0.71 square miles (1.84 square kilometers) is land, and 0.51 square miles (1.33 square kilometers) is water. The community is about 7 miles (11 km) east of Hillsboro, which is the main town and county seat of Highland County.
