Rodman is a small city in Palo Alto County, Iowa, United States. In 2020, the city had a population of 31 people. Rodman is also known for being the city in Iowa that is farthest from any National park. The closest National Park is 372 miles away.

History of Rodman

Rodman began in the early 1880s. This was after the Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway built tracks through the area. The city was named after Mr. Rodman, a retired sailor. He owned the land where the town was built.
