Roger Leedham Brown (born on August 9, 1959) is a former Australian cricket player. He was a bowler, which means he threw the ball to try and get batters out. Roger Brown was a very important player because, for a long time, he had played more top-level cricket matches than any other Aboriginal Australian player.
Roger was born in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. He played cricket for his home state team, Tasmania, from 1984 to 1987.

Roger Brown's Cricket Career
Roger Brown played in different types of cricket matches:
First-Class Cricket
First-class cricket matches are the longest and most traditional form of the game. They usually last for several days. Roger played 32 first-class matches. In these games, he took 87 wickets and scored 467 runs. His best bowling performance was taking 7 wickets for 80 runs.
List A Cricket
List A cricket matches are shorter, one-day games. Roger played 9 List A matches. He took 9 wickets and scored 76 runs in these games.
Playing for Australia
Roger also had the chance to play for special Australian teams:
