In 2020, about 793 people lived there.

Rolling Hills is found in Madera County, California. It's just north of the border with Fresno County. You can find it on the west side of State Route 41, which is also known as the Yosemite Freeway. It's about 12 miles (19 km) north of Fresno. The city of Madera is about 18 miles (29 km) to the northwest. Rolling Hills is a small place, covering about 0.6 square miles (1.6 square kilometers) of land.

In 2010, about 742 people lived in Rolling Hills. Most of the people living there were White (86.5%). There were also smaller groups of African American, Native American, and Asian residents. About 19.3% of the people identified as Hispanic or Latino.
