Romeo Tan is a famous actor from Singapore. He was born on April 9, 1985. He is known as one of the "8 Dukes of Caldecott Hill," which means he's one of the top male actors in Singapore. Romeo became well-known in 2010 after he came in fourth place on a TV talent show called Star Search.

Early Life and Education
Romeo Tan went to Ngee Ann Secondary School. He also studied multimedia technology at ITE MacPherson. Later, he earned a diploma in digital media design from Nanyang Polytechnic.
Acting Career
Romeo Tan first appeared on TV in 2005 in the show Heartlanders.
In 2010, after filming The Best Things in Life, Romeo joined the Star Search competition. He did very well and finished in fourth place. After the show, he was offered a two-year acting contract with MediaCorp.
In 2012, Romeo got a big role in the police show C.L.I.F.. He was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the Star Awards 2012 for his acting. He then played a villain for the first time in Joys of Life. People really liked his performance, and he became known as a rising star.
He also starred in Don't Stop Believin' as a charming chef. Later that year, he appeared in It Takes Two. In 2013, Romeo took on the main role in Sudden. He also sang one of the theme songs for the show.
Continued Success
In 2014, Romeo acted in Yes We Can! and The Journey: Tumultuous Times. The next year, 2015, he was in Good Luck, The Journey: Our Homeland, and The Dream Makers II. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Star Awards 2016 and won the London Choco Roll Happiness Award.
In 2016, he starred in a web series called Soul Reaper and also appeared in Peace & Prosperity and The Dream Job. He won the Best Supporting Actor award and was named one of the Top 10 Most Popular Artistes at the Star Awards 2017.
In 2017, he acted in Dream Coder, When Duty Calls, and Life Less Ordinary. These roles led to more nominations for Best Actor and Best Theme Song at the Star Awards 2018. In 2018, he was in Say Cheese, and in 2019, he appeared in How Are You? and All Is Well – Taiwan.
Romeo Tan has won the Star Awards for Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes award ten times, from 2014 to 2015, 2017 to 2019, and 2021 to 2025.
Personal Life
In May 2020, Romeo Tan shared on social media that he bought an apartment in Marina One Residences in Singapore. Before this, he lived in a smaller apartment with seven family members, including his parents, brothers, sister-in-law, nephew, and niece. He used to share a room with his younger brother.
