Ron Lester (born August 4, 1970 – died June 17, 2016) was an American actor. He was famous for his roles in movies like Varsity Blues, Not Another Teen Movie, and Good Burger. He also appeared in the TV show Popular.

Ron Lester was born in Kennesaw, Georgia, in the United States. He grew up there before starting his acting career.
Ron Lester's Acting Career
Ron Lester's first chance to act came in Atlanta, Georgia. He was supposed to be an extra in a commercial, but it turned into a bigger part. He even appeared in a music video for the band Little Texas.
Later, Ron moved to Los Angeles to try stand-up comedy. His first movie role was in Good Burger in 1997. In 1999, he played Billy Bob in the movie Varsity Blues. This role became the one he was most known for. That same year, he also had regular roles on two TV shows, Freaks and Geeks and Popular. He also appeared in Not Another Teen Movie, where he made fun of his own role from Varsity Blues.
Ron Lester's Health Journey
Ron Lester faced health challenges from a young age. In 2000, he had a special surgery to help him lose weight and become healthier. During this surgery, his heart briefly stopped, but doctors were able to help him. After losing a lot of weight, he had more surgeries to remove extra skin.
Later in his life, Ron faced serious health problems with his liver and kidneys. He passed away on June 17, 2016, at the age of 45, due to these health issues.
