Ronnie Brewer (born March 20, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. He is now an assistant coach for a college team. Ronnie played college basketball at the University of Arkansas. His father, Ron Brewer, was also a basketball star there in the 1970s. Ronnie was known for his unusual way of shooting the ball. This was because of an injury he got from a water slide when he was a kid.

The Utah Jazz picked him as the 14th player in the 2006 NBA draft.

Playing for the Arkansas Razorbacks

Ronnie Brewer played for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2003 to 2006. He was a very good player for his college team. On average, he scored 18.4 points in each game. He also grabbed 4.8 rebounds and made 3.3 assists per game. Plus, he was great at stealing the ball, averaging 2.6 steals.

Playing for the Utah Jazz (2006–2010)

The Utah Jazz chose Ronnie Brewer in the 2006 NBA draft. In his first year, he didn't play much. But in his second year (2007–2008), he became the team's starting shooting guard. He started scoring a lot of points and was one of the best players in the NBA at stealing the ball. He was even chosen to play in the 2008 Rookie-Sophomore Game, which is a special game for new players. In February 2009, Ronnie scored his highest points in a single game, getting 26 points against the Sacramento Kings.

Time with the Memphis Grizzlies (2010)

In February 2010, Ronnie was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. He didn't play as much there because of a leg injury.

Joining the Chicago Bulls (2010–2012)

Ronnie signed with the Chicago Bulls in July 2010. He played as a backup shooting guard and was known for his strong defense. He helped the Bulls a lot during his time there.

Playing for the New York Knicks (2012–2013)

In July 2012, Ronnie joined the New York Knicks. Soon after, he had surgery on his knee and was out for about six weeks.

Short Stays with Other Teams (2013–2014)

Ronnie played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in February 2013. Later that year, he signed with the Houston Rockets. He was with the Rockets until February 2014.

Returning to the Chicago Bulls (2014)

In April 2014, Ronnie came back to play for the Chicago Bulls for the rest of the season. He was released by the Bulls in July 2014.
