In 2012, Rosana Ubanell released her second novel, Perdido en tu piel. This book was a romantic story. Fox News Latino described it as a tale of two lovers. They meet again after 30 years. The story mixes their "unique first love" with suspense and secrets. The book takes readers to places like New York, Marbella, and Mexico.
In 2013, Rosana Ubanell shared that she was working on two more Nelson Montero books. She wanted to continue the detective series she started. When asked why she wrote a romance novel, she said she wanted to explore love. She called it a "universal emotion" that the ancient Greeks called "the madness of the gods."
