Rosario is a small place in Washington state, USA. It is called an "unincorporated community." This means it is not a city or town with its own local government. Instead, it is part of San Juan County.
History of Rosario
Rosario got its name from a nearby body of water called the Rosario Strait. A long time ago, in 1906, a post office opened in Rosario. People could send and receive mail there. The post office stayed open for many years, finally closing in 1954.
