Rosehill Cemetery facts for kids
Rosehill Cemetery is a large and historic cemetery located on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. It was started in 1864 and covers about 350 acres, making it the biggest cemetery in Chicago. The name "Rosehill" actually came from a mistake by a city worker! The area was first called "Roe's Hill." You can find Rosehill Cemetery in the northeast part of the Lincoln Square neighborhood.
