Where is Rosette Located?
Rosette is in the northwestern part of Box Elder County. It is about 4 miles (6.4 km) west of another community called Park Valley. The Raft River Mountains are located just south of Rosette.
How Rosette Got Its Name
The community of Rosette was named in 1871. The first postmaster, Jonathan Campbell, chose the name. He named it after the many wild roses that grow in the area.
