The Roundtop Mountain Resort is a fun place in Pennsylvania. It's a resort where you can enjoy different activities all year round!

In winter, it's a snowy wonderland. You can go skiing, snowboarding, and even snowtubing down the hills. When the snow melts, Roundtop changes into an adventure park. You can try zip lines, ropes courses, and even roll down a hill inside giant "OGO Balls." Plus, there's paintball available all year!

Roundtop Mountain Resort used to be owned by a company called Snow Time, Inc. This company also owned two other resorts: Whitetail Ski Resort and Liberty Mountain Resort.

History of Roundtop Mountain Resort

Roundtop Mountain Resort started as Ski Roundtop. A person named Irvin Naylor created it in 1964. He loved to ski but didn't want to travel far. He bought some land for $30,000 to build his own ski area.

Mr. Naylor and some other people started a company called Snow Time, Inc. This company helped run the ski resort. Over time, the resort became very popular. Mr. Naylor eventually bought more of the company.

Later, in 2018, a company called Peak Resorts bought Roundtop. Then, in 2019, another big company, Vail Resorts, bought Roundtop and other ski areas from Peak Resorts.
