Rouvenac was a small village, or "commune," located in the south of France. It was part of the Aude department. In 2019, Rouvenac joined with another commune to form a new, larger commune called Val-du-Faby. This means Rouvenac is no longer a separate commune on its own.

Rouvenac was situated in the Aude department, which is in the southern part of France. This area is known for its beautiful landscapes. It was located near the town of Limoux.
The village was nestled in a valley, with its lowest point at 279 meters (about 915 feet) above sea level. Its highest point reached 587 meters (about 1,926 feet). The total area of Rouvenac was around 12.23 square kilometers. This is about 4.7 square miles.

Becoming Part of Val-du-Faby
On January 1, 2019, Rouvenac officially merged with another commune. This created a new, larger commune named Val-du-Faby. This kind of merger happens when smaller towns decide to combine. They do this to share resources and manage services more efficiently.
Even though Rouvenac is now part of Val-du-Faby, its history and identity remain important. It continues to be a part of the rich heritage of the Aude department.
