Rowleys Bay (pronounced ROH-leez BAY) is a small place located right on Lake Michigan. It's in the northern part of Door County, Wisconsin. This area is part of a larger local government division called the Town of Liberty Grove. An "unincorporated community" means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or village with its own separate local government. The bay and community got their name from Peter Rowley, who moved there in 1835.
