Rubén Cortada (born October 6, 1984) is a talented actor and model from both Cuba and Spain. He is known for his roles in popular TV shows and for working with famous fashion brands.
Early Life and Education
Rubén Cortada was born on October 6, 1984, on the Isla de la Juventud in Cuba. His father was a hydraulic engineer, and his mother was a microbiologist.
He attended a special boarding school called La Lenin in Havana. This school was known for its strong academics. His literature teacher at La Lenin inspired him to become an actor.
Rubén first acted in two plays in Cuba. After that, he trained with a well-known acting coach, Fernando Piernas. He later started studying Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Havana. However, he left his studies to move to Spain and begin an international modeling career.
Career Highlights
As a model, Rubén Cortada has worked for many famous fashion companies. These include Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
In 2014, he became very popular for playing the character Faruq in the hit TV series El Príncipe. This show was broadcast on Telecinco.
