Łubieński coat of arms

Her father, Major Count Ludwik Łubieński, worked for the Polish government before the war. He later helped General Sikorski, who was the Prime Minister of the Polish government in exile during World War II. Her mother, Countess Elżbieta Tyszkiewicz, survived the Ravensbrück concentration camp during the German occupation of Poland. Rula has two sisters, Anna and Gabriela. She went to school at the Ursuline Convent School in England.
