Rupanco Lake is a large and beautiful lake found in the Los Lagos Region of Chile. It is famous for its clear, deep waters and the amazing natural views around it. The city closest to the lake is Osorno. There is even a primary school in Osorno named after this very lake!

The lake is also very deep. Its deepest point goes down about 350 meters (1,150 feet). This makes it one of the deeper lakes in Chile. The water in Rupanco Lake is very clear, which is common for lakes formed by glaciers.

Several small rivers and streams flow into Rupanco Lake. These bring fresh water from the surrounding mountains. The main river that flows out of Rupanco Lake is the Rahue River. This river then joins other rivers, eventually reaching the Pacific Ocean.
