Russell is a town located in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It's a cool place with a mix of land and water. In 2020, about 1,553 people lived here. This was more than the 1,279 people who lived here in 2010.
Russell is home to a few smaller communities. These include Red Cliff and Sand Bay. Red Cliff is special because it's the main center for the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.
The town also includes two islands from the famous Apostle Islands: York Island and Raspberry Island.
