Heaviest Vehicle Pull
On November 26, 2008, Ryan set a world record for pulling the "Heaviest Vehicle by a Sword Swallower." He pulled a 2002 Audi Quattro car, which weighed 1696 kilograms (about 3,739 pounds). He pulled it 6.38 meters (about 21 feet) in just 20.53 seconds. The amazing part is that he did this while a sword was inside his throat! Two chains connected the car to the sword's handle.
Pulling with His Nose
Ryan also holds the record for "The heaviest vehicle pulled using a hook through the nasal cavity and out of the mouth." This means he pulled a car using a hook that went through his nose and came out of his mouth! The car weighed 725 kilograms (about 1,598 pounds). He achieved this record on March 21, 2012, in Rome, Italy, and it was shown on a TV show called 'Lo Show dei Record'.
Blowtorch Extinguishing
In 2014, Ryan broke two more world records in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He set a new record for "most blowtorches extinguished on the tongue in one minute." He put out 40 blowtorches with his tongue, beating the old record of 27.
Lifting Heavy Weights
He also holds the record for "The heaviest weight lifted by hooks in the forearms." For this stunt, he lifted two cement blocks that weighed 70 pounds (31.75 kilograms) using hooks attached to his forearms.
