Sacramento Knoxx, whose real name is Christopher Yepez, is an artist, musician, and activist from Southwest Detroit, USA. He is part of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) and Chicano cultures. His music is a cool mix of different styles. It includes sounds from electronic music, ghettotech, Afro-Latino beats, hip hop, soul, and R&B.

Early Life and Roots

Sacramento Knoxx was born in Detroit, Michigan. But his childhood was also deeply connected to Canada. His family has strong ties to the Walpole Island Reserve. This is a special place where his father and many relatives live. Knoxx spent a lot of his younger years on this reserve.

From a very young age, Knoxx loved music, dance, and art. He enjoyed trying out different ways to create. He often found inspiration from things like VHS tapes and Polaroid photos.

Later, in the summer of 2014, he earned another certificate. This one was in Movement Building and Education. He got it from the SOUL School of Unity & Liberation in Oakland, California.

Sacramento Knoxx has a career that covers many areas. He works in music production, making films, and creating visual art. He is also very active in social causes. He uses his art to speak out and make a difference.
