Dominic Wynn Woods (born June 20, 1992), known as Sage the Gemini, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He grew up in Fairfield, California. He is famous for his songs "Gas Pedal" and "Red Nose" from 2013. These songs were very popular and appeared on the Billboard music charts.

Sage the Gemini is also part of a hip hop group called the HBK Gang. He is one of the few members of this group to sign with a major record label.

Early Life and Music Start

Sage the Gemini was born in San Francisco, California, on June 20, 1992. When he was about six or seven years old, his family moved to Fairfield, California. He started making music when he was just eleven years old. His brother bought a microphone, and they began recording songs together.

His first song, recorded at age 14, was called "Made In China." He chose the name Sage the Gemini because of his eye color and his zodiac sign.

Becoming a Music Star

In 2008, Sage released his first song, "You Should Know," on MySpace. It quickly became a huge hit online, getting over three million views. After this success, he joined a music group called Black Money Music Group.

He was also good friends with rapper Iamsu!. This friendship led him to join The HBK Gang, which stands for the Heartbreak Gang.

Hit Songs and First Album

In March 2013, Sage the Gemini released two singles: "Red Nose" and "Gas Pedal". "Gas Pedal" featured Iamsu! and became a top 40 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Both songs were very popular and played a lot on the radio.

Because of their success, Republic Records signed Sage the Gemini in August 2013. "Red Nose" was certified Gold, and "Gas Pedal" was certified Platinum, meaning they sold many copies. On March 25, 2014, he released his first album, Remember Me.

In October 2014, Sage was featured on Flo Rida's song "G.D.F.R.." This song also became a big hit, reaching number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. In July 2017, Sage released his first mixtape, Morse Code. This mixtape included the Gold-certified song "Now and Later," which was a number one hit in Australia and the UK.
