Dominic Wynn Woods (born June 20, 1992), known as Sage the Gemini, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. He comes from Fairfield, California. He is famous for his songs "Gas Pedal" and "Red Nose" from 2013. These songs became very popular.
"Gas Pedal" reached number 29 on the Billboard music chart. "Red Nose" reached number 59. Both songs were released before his first album, Remember Me, in 2014. Later, he was featured on Flo Rida's song "Going Down For Real (GDFR)" in 2014. This song reached number eight on the chart. It also sold millions of copies. Sage the Gemini is part of a hip hop group called the HBK Gang.

Early Life and Starting Music
Sage the Gemini was born on June 20, 1992, in San Francisco, California. When he was about six or seven years old, his family moved to Fairfield, California. He started making music when he was just eleven years old. He and his brother bought a microphone and began recording songs.
His first song, "Made In China," was recorded when he was 14. Dominic chose the name "Sage the Gemini" because of his eye color and his zodiac sign.
First Hits and Big Success
In 2008, Sage released his first song called "You Should Know" on MySpace. It quickly became very popular online. Millions of people listened to it around the world. After this, he joined a music group called Black Money Music Group. He was also good friends with rapper Iamsu!, so he joined The HBK Gang, also known as the Heartbreak Gang.
Remember Me Album and More Hits
In March 2013, Sage released two important songs: "Red Nose" and "Gas Pedal". "Gas Pedal" featured his friend Iamsu!. These songs became instant hits and were played a lot on the radio. "Gas Pedal" reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was his first song to make it into the top 40.
Because of his success, Republic Records signed him to a record deal in August 2013. "Red Nose" was certified Gold, meaning it sold over 500,000 copies. "Gas Pedal" was certified Platinum, selling over one million copies. On March 25, 2014, Sage released his first studio album, Remember Me.
In October 2014, he was featured on Flo Rida's song "G.D.F.R.". This song became a huge hit, reaching number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. In July 2017, Sage released his first mixtape, Morse Code. This mixtape included the song "Now and Later", which also went Gold. "Now and Later" became number one on urban music charts in Australia and the UK.
