Sail Away was a cool reality television show for kids that aired in 2001. It followed ten teenagers on an amazing adventure. They sailed a ship called the Simpatico near the beautiful Bahamas. Two experienced sailors, Nicolas Popov and Dragan Popov, helped guide them. The show had 13 episodes and was made by Discovery Kids.

What is Sail Away About?
This TV series showed what it was like for ten teenagers, aged 13 to 15, to live on a ship. They sailed the Simpatico around the amazing Bahamas. Professional sailors Nicolas and Dragan Popov were there to teach and help them.
The teens learned to live in small spaces together. They also picked up many new sailing skills. A big part of the show was learning to get along with others. Every day brought new and exciting challenges. These included diving with sharks and exploring old sunken ships. They even got to swim with wild dolphins!
