How Saint-Aubin Changed
In 1888, something big happened for Saint-Aubin. It joined together with another village called Sauges. When they merged, they formed a new, larger municipality known as Saint-Aubin-Sauges. This kind of merger happens when smaller towns decide to combine their resources and administration to become one bigger community.
