The Saint Patrick's Day Test, also known as the Donnybrook Cup, was a special international rugby league game. It was played between the United States and Ireland. These matches usually happened around March 17th, which is Saint Patrick's Day.
The game series ran from 1995 to 2012. There were eight matches in total. The USA team won five of these games, and Ireland won three. For the first two matches, Ireland played with their full national team. They won both of those games. Later, in 2020, the first two games were officially recognized as full international matches. This was because the teams Ireland used were very similar to their main national squad. In 2021, the USARL and RLI talked about bringing the game back in 2023, but it did not happen.
