Salesville's Location and Land
Salesville is in the middle of Baxter County. You can find it at these coordinates: 36°14′41″N 92°16′32″W / 36.24472°N 92.27556°W. The main part of town is where Arkansas Highway 5 and 177 meet. This spot is about 1.5 miles west of the Norfork Dam.
The North Fork River flows along the eastern edge of Salesville. Highway 5 goes northwest about 10 miles to Mountain Home, which is the county seat. It also goes south about 3 miles to the city of Norfork.
The city covers a total area of about 11.6 square kilometers (or 4.5 square miles). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the city limits.
