Saltillo is a small town located in Washington County, Indiana, in the United States. It's part of Brown Township. In 2010, about 92 people lived there. By 2020, the population had grown slightly to 94 residents.

A Look Back at Saltillo's History
Saltillo was officially planned and marked out in 1849. It got its name from Saltillo, a city in Mexico. This was to remember a big battle that happened there during the Mexican-American War.
A post office opened in Saltillo in 1854. It served the community for over 100 years. The post office eventually closed its doors in 1957.

Saltillo's Population in 2010
In 2010, the town of Saltillo had 92 people living in 42 different homes. Out of these, 29 were families. The town had about 80 people per square mile. There were 50 housing units in total.
