Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-Up is a super fun British TV show for kids! It airs on the CBBC channel. The show started on September 16, 2011, and is still going strong. It's hosted by the hilarious duo, Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes.
Sometimes, the show is called Sam & Mark's Big Wind-Up when it shows just the pranks. There are also special Sam & Mark's Big Christmas Wind-Up episodes during the holidays. This show took over from their earlier show, TMi. So far, there have been 7 series of the show, with a new one starting in January 2018.

What Happens in the Show?
Each episode of Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-Up is packed with laughs and games. Sam and Mark love to play tricks and involve the audience.
Embarrassing Parents
The show often starts with Sam and Mark chatting with kids in the audience. These kids usually have a parent who does something a bit embarrassing. Sam and Mark then bring out the parent and get them to do their funny or awkward thing!
To help the kids get back at their parents, they play a game. It used to be called 'Mum/Dad on a Wheel'. Now, it's called 'Mum/Dad Pin Bowling'. It's a chance for the kids to have some fun at their parents' expense.
In Yer House
Another popular part of the show is 'In Yer House'. In this game, Sam and Mark put on disguises. They try to prank a child or a victim without being recognized. If someone spots them, they are "rumbled"! This game has four exciting rounds.

Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-Up has had many episodes over the years. Each series brings new celebrity guests and funny moments.
- Series 1 aired in 2011. It featured guests like Sugababes and The Wanted.
- Series 2 aired in 2013. One Direction and JLS were some of the guests.
- Series 3 aired in 2014. Guests included Union J and Jessie J.
- Series 4 aired from late 2014 to early 2015. It included Christmas specials.
- Series 5 aired from late 2015 to early 2016. The Vamps and Peter Andre appeared.
- Series 6 aired from late 2016 to early 2017. This series also started with a Christmas episode.
- Series 7 aired in 2018. This series had more regular episodes instead of a Christmas special.

The show has been nominated for the British Academy Children's Awards six times. That's a lot! Out of those nominations, it has won three awards.
