About Samson Kayo
Samson Kayo grew up in Peckham, London, and has Nigerian family roots. When he was younger, he first wanted to be a football player. However, he soon became interested in comedy. Funny actors like Jim Carrey and Robin Williams inspired him. He was also inspired by British comedian Jocelyn Jee Esien, who showed him that black people could succeed in comedy.
Samson Kayo was friends with actor John Boyega when they were children. They even went to church together. One day, Samson found an open audition for a TV show called Youngers on Channel 4. He decided to try out and got a part in the show!
