Early Life and First Steps in Acting
Nick Frost was born on March 28, 1972, in Hornchurch, Greater London. His parents, John and Tricia Frost, designed office furniture. When Nick was 15, his parents' business faced problems, and they lost their family home.
To help his family, Nick left school and started working for a shipping company. He later spent two years living and working on a kibbutz in Israel.
Nick met actor Simon Pegg while working as a waiter in a restaurant in North London. They quickly became close friends and even shared a flat. Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes later created a role for Nick in their popular comedy series Spaced. This role was partly based on how Nick and Simon lived at the time.
