San Cebrián de Mudá is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the province of Palencia. This area is part of Castile and León, a large region in Spain.
In 2004, a count of people (called a census) showed that 185 people lived there. By 2018, the population was 162.
Long ago, the town's main way to make money was through coal mining. But as coal mining became less important, people started to invest in tourism. This means they wanted to attract visitors to the area instead.
