It is a modern church that was built in the late 1970s. This building serves as a place of worship for the local community.

Building the Church

The construction of the San Julián Obispo Church began in November 1975. It took almost two years to complete. The church was finished in September 1977.

Who Designed It?

Two talented architects worked together to design this church. Their names were Pedro Gutiérrez Ruiz and Pedro Silleras Alonso Celada. They planned every detail of the building.

Inside the Church

The church has a special design inside. It is shaped like a rectangle. The main part of the church is divided into three long sections, called naves. These naves are organized into five smaller areas.

Main Hall and Light

The central nave, which is the middle section, is taller and wider than the two side naves. This design helps to make the church feel spacious. It also has a large stained glass window. This window was specially made to let in as much natural light as possible, making the inside bright and welcoming.

Building Materials Used

The architects chose strong and durable materials for the church. They used reinforced concrete, which is a very sturdy building material. They also used solid bricks and aluminum. These materials helped create a modern and lasting structure.
