San Salvador is a small district in the Guairá Department of Paraguay. It is located about 18 kilometers (11 miles) southwest of Villarrica, which is the capital city of the department.
This district covers an area of 14 square kilometers (about 5.4 square miles). In 2008, about 3,483 people lived there. This means there were about 25 people living in each square kilometer.
