Sandy Creek is found in the northern part of Brunswick County. Two main roads, U.S. Routes 74 and 76, run along the northern edge of the town. These roads are also known as the Andrew Jackson Highway.
If you travel east on these roads, you'll reach Wilmington in about 13 miles (21 km). If you go west, you'll get to Whiteville in about 33 miles (53 km).
