Where Are the Sanigut Islands?
The Sanigut Islands are found in a large body of water called Cumberland Sound. This sound is next to Baffin Island, which is one of the biggest islands in Canada. The islands are just a bit south of a place called Avataktoo Bay.
Islands Nearby
Even though the Sanigut Islands themselves are empty, they have many neighbors! Some of the other islands close by include Aupaluktok Island, which is the one furthest south. You can also find Anarnittuq Island, Beacon Island, Imigen Island, Ivisa Island, Kekertelung Island, Saunik Island, Tesseralik Island, and Ugpitimik Island in the same area.
