Meet Santa Paws and His Family

The books are all about a brave German Shepherd Dog mix named Santa Paws. He's a special dog who helps people when they are in trouble or need rescuing. The stories take place in a town called Oceanport, New Jersey. Santa Paws was adopted by the kind Callahan family. Let's meet everyone in the family:

• Mrs. Callahan: She's the mom and teaches physics at Oceanport High School. She's a strict but very loving mom to her family.
• Mr. Callahan: He's the dad and writes books. He really loves listening to music by Frank Sinatra and sometimes even wears his comfy slippers when he goes out!
• Patricia: She's a high school student. Patricia is a bit of a tomboy but also enjoys being stylish. She's known for being quite sarcastic.
• Gregory: He's a middle school student who was the first one to find Santa Paws. Later in the series, when he's in high school, he plays football.
• Santa Paws: He's the amazing dog hero who always comes to the rescue when people are in danger or need help.
• Evelyn: This is a grumpy old tiger cat who loves nothing more than taking long naps.
• Abigail: She's another cat who was a stray at first. The family rescued her near the end of the third book, and she's been with them ever since the fourth book. She sometimes scratches people!
