Saprae Creek is a small community, called a hamlet, in northern Alberta, Canada. It is part of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. You can find it about 3 kilometers north of Highway 69. It's also about 11 kilometers east of Fort McMurray.

The 2016 Wildfire
In 2016, a big wildfire caused problems for Saprae Creek. On May 4, 2016, everyone in the hamlet had to leave their homes. This was because a large fire was growing nearby. By the next day, May 5, about 30% of the buildings in Saprae Creek were badly damaged.
