Sarah A. Wescot-Williams was born on April 8, 1956. She is a very important political leader in Sint Maarten. She made history by becoming the first ever Prime Minister of Sint Maarten. She also leads the Democratic Party.

Becoming Prime Minister
Sint Maarten became its own country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands on October 10, 2010. This was a big moment! After this, Sarah Wescot-Williams was chosen to be the first Prime Minister.
