Eugene Bernard Holiday (born 14 December 1962) is an important person from Sint Maarten. He was the very first Governor of Sint Maarten. Sint Maarten became its own country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 10 October 2010. Mr. Holiday started his role as Governor on 7 September 2010. Before becoming Governor, he was in charge of the Princess Juliana International Airport. He served as Governor until 10 October 2022.

Early Life and Education
Eugene Bernard Holiday was born on Sint Maarten. His birthday is 14 December 1962. He was the fourth of seven children in his family. His parents were Eugene Bernard Holiday Sr. and Leonie Cassandra Marsham.
He moved to the Netherlands to study in 1979. He went to the Catholic University of Brabant. In 1987, he earned a master's degree in economics. This means he studied how money and resources are used.
Family Life
Eugene Holiday married Marie-Louise Hazel in 1990. They have built a family together.
