Batmönkhiin Sarantuyaa, known simply as Sarantuya or Saraa, is a very famous singer from Mongolia. She was born on April 20, 1970. Since the late 1980s, she has been a major star in Mongolian pop music. Many people still love her songs, and she is often called the "queen of Mongolian pop music." Saraa is known for her special singing style, sometimes using a high voice called falsetto.
Saraa has sold more music than any other Mongolian artist ever! Some of her popular songs include "Torson Odriin Bayar," "Bi Jargaltai," and "Argagui Amrag."
Saraa was born in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. She started her singing career in a small band called "Mungun Harandaa," which means "Silver Pencil." Her first solo concert was in 1994 and was called "Setgeliin Khug." Over 1,300 fans came to watch her perform. Throughout her career, Saraa has released a total of 15 studio albums.

Saraa is often called the "Pop Diva" of Mongolia. She received a very special honor when she was named "Singer of the Century." This was a huge achievement for a Mongolian artist. She has also won many other awards, including "Best Artist" from Pentatonic. Pentatonic is a big music festival that happens every year.
